The trees are flowering, the Corte Madera geyser is springing ...

Well thats a new one! I guess that someone hit the fire hydrant and sent it rocketing almost to Larkspur? Not that far but I wouldn't have wanted it to land on me!
Marin public servants at work:

No, these aren't the fallow dear that have been on the cover of the Marin IJ. Those exotic deer species diplacing the elk out in Pt. Reyes are a different variety of deer. These Mule Deer are native to marin. They're also called black tail deer.

The Del Norte high speed ferry taking Sunday off at its berth at the Larkspur ferry terminal at Larkspur Landing.
On a dreary day, when light sets down, the trees stay based, yet the sky shakes the clouds, the sun shimmers in here and there, the bay alights...we see it there.
Winter in Marin. Picture the oaks with out the leaves and the ground red with the leaves that fell. The lichen has its chance to thrive in the wet foggy light, and we get another view while hiking in the hills of San Rafael.
Ok, here is a fine San Rafael oak as a perfect mate for that fit Larkspur madrone.

Could we imagine the ad in Marin's Pacific Sun personal section? 40ish well toned svelte madrone seeks steady 40 to 50 year old single Oak for LTMR? Ok, the pacific sun is a different sort of resource than our marin parks and opens spaces, but lets just recognize the connection of the trees to the birds and the bees?
Thes pictures were taken in China Point State park past the San Ventia area of San Rafael.
